At first glance, these look a bit unusual, but that's what makes them so unique. This is a great way to add a punch of color to any room in your home. All you need is to visit your local arts supply store or home depot store and select the shades of paint you want to use. Place a piece of masking tape across half the picture frame and then paint below the line and let it dry. You'll have original pieces that are sure to impress anyone who sees them.

2) Add some pizzazz to your doors!
Here's another great idea that won't break the bank by Oh Joy! Often times we focus on hanging pictures to our walls, or deciding on wall paper or paint colors to give our rooms some life, but if you are renting a room or just don't have the means to do a 360 revamp of your living space or maybe you feel like your room is missing something, this is a risk-free decor hack you can try.
Visit your local craft supply store and purchase some contact paper. If you've never heard of this before, it is essentially adhesive paper used for decorating dressers, shelves and almost any surface. On one side is the design, which resembles gift wrapping paper and on the other side is the adhesive that is activated once you peel the backing paper off. The paper can be cut into any shape or size, leaving you to get creative! If stripes are not your thing, why not try circles? Or if you are decorating a children's room, you can do stars or trace their favorite cartoon! The possibilities are endless.
