According to The National, Oqyana signed a deal with floating island expert Dutch Docklands to create a series of private island villas at its long-delayed scheme, Oqyana World First development.
Could you imagine living on a private island, secluded from the rest of the world, with nothing but a luxurious villa and its own beautiful private beach?! Doesn't seem like such a bad thing, especially when it's in close proximity to the great city of Dubai.
Dutch Docklands will help design the personalized private islands. The project was initially slated to begin in 2005, but due to the global financial crisis the World Islands Project was not capable of seeing fruition.
Definitely a project to keep your eye on if you are looking for an ultra-luxurious living experience.
